Basketball Shooting

Grades 3-5 have been working on their basketball skills.  This is a 3rd grade class working on shooting at the basket.

 

Throwing Stations

K-2 classes have been working on their overhand, underhand, and Frisbee throws.  Here is a 1st grade class working on throwing stations.

Classes began working on their basketball skills this week.  Here is a second grade class working on their dribbling skills by playing Dribbling with Dinosaurs.

 

Students in grades 3-5 participated in a Cooperative Fitness Challenge.  This consisted of 6 fitness challenges including partner jumping jacks, froggers, on the move throw and catch, plank taps, crabwalk, and partner sit ups.  All students did a great job at trying their best!

K-2 Catching

Grades K-2 have started working on their catching skills.  This is Mrs. Burns class working on tossing and catching bean bags.

Grades 3-5 have been working on their Floor Hockey unit.  This is a 5th grade class playing Sideline Hockey.

Grades K-2 have been working on their throwing skills.  This is a 1st grade class using the underhand throw/roll in the game Pinball.
